Why I never seem,
To get the respect,
For what I do, is beyond me...
Why we never seem,

Why can't we ever,
Get some form of praise,
For what we share, or what we have?
Jealousy, anger,
Sadness, depression,
Brings us all down, and causes pain.

Bring the flame! The fires of opinion!
You think your feelings will change my way?
Your feelings won't hurt no matter what you say!
Fuel the flame! Throw me your mind, thoughts, and dreams!
You believe that you are better than me?
Than be constructive, and don't insult us!

You people take advantage of your judgement,
To bring us down, to make you superior.
Fucking critics, and your negative commentary,
Keep hurting me, it doesn't hurt me at all,
Honorless bastards make fools of their idols,
Just pretending, sitting in the throne of success.

Burn my mind! With fires of opinion!
You think your thoughts will make my day?
Your thoughts won't even do shit to me!
Throw your thoughts! Throw us all your criticism!
You say that you are better than me,
But you watch the movie without watching the movie!

Just because someone else has failed these task,
It doesn't mean that I can't achieve.
I can succeed!
You may have experienced failure in this scale before,
But some of us actually learn from you,
So we succeed!
In a world where icons don't trust their loyal subjects,
They don't know what they inspire.
For us to strive!
Degrade us, degrade the next generation to nothing,
We are the new millenium spawn.
We are alive!!

We are the ones that can accomplish the greater things,
Jealousy in your veins, believing we'll crumble society.
Thinking that we don't think, or learning that we don't learn.
Stereotypes don't apply to all, intellectuals left to rebuild.

Shield the flames! The fires of opinions!
You think we will crumble the dawns today?
We do what you couldn't do yesterday!
Growing flames! Throw gas to ignite the arguements!
We shall fill in where you left gaps,
We...shall...STRIVE!!
